Chris's 3rd gen 2015 Tacoma Sport. Mods before the regear and elocker include 34" Toyos/2" Billstein 5100 shocks/air bags in rear/ecu tune. The addition of 529 Revolution Gears and a recently released new improved elocker really does step up the game. The text is being added as we speak! |

Let's get right into it. This new elocker has my attention. It has a number of design improvements over the Harrop/Eaton elockers. For one, the "stop tab" has been machined into the cap...no more 2 tiny token TIG spot welds. Also, the rubber grommet for the pass-thru wire is greatly improved. Now, it installs from the OUTSIDE and has a large surface area for the RTV sealant to adhere to. And the internal mechanical improvement is the use of about 12 ball bearings for the engagement process. No more ramp ring for engagement. |
